Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Be kind to yourself and your mind. Nothing in this world can bother us as much as our own mind. Sometimes life’s challenges becomes overwhelming and upsets us and the people around us. When these challenges become overwhelming, you don’t have to manage them alone. As a therapist I recognize it could be challenging to talk or seek help. It makes no difference where you have been or what communities you identify with, I can help give you the tools you need to achieve realistic goals for your life and move on from trauma and onto successful recovery and hope.
